Limited liability Company "POZHSNAB" is the largest manufacturer of fire-fighting and special vehicles for the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Belarus. The company has been successfully operating since 2002. Nowadays we have created more than 80 modifications of vehicles, divided into four generations. The main direction of the company is manufacturing of various types of fire trucks on chassis MAZ. At the same time fire trucks are manufactured on the chassis KAMAZ, UralAZ, ZIL, GAZ, MoAZ, VW and IVECO. Today our engineering department is developing a "fifth generation" technology based on Mercedes and MAN chassis, with quality equal to modern European vehicles. Our vehicles cover the whole possible range of machines for the Ministry of Emergency and government rescue services. These are the vehicles of foam and compressed air foam extinguishing and combined extinguishing, all kinds of rescue vehicles, rapid intervention vehicles, anti-smoke defense services. Our additional specialty is production of mobile headquarters , mobile complexes and special vehicles like mobile command posts, vehicles of diving services, emergency and rescue vehicles for the elimination of major chemical accidents, plant processing (decontamination, disinfection) personnel and equipment, special airfield vehicles and aircraft tenders.
All vehicles are equipped with necessary fire fighting and rescue equipment and tools. Two-stage fire-fighting centrifugal pumps "GODIVA" (Great Britain) have already been successfully operated on more than 150 fire trucks, which are also equipped with modern fire monitors and hose reels of company "AKRON" (the USA). For equipping of our trucks we use electrical generators "GEKO" (Germany), hydraulic rescue tools "HOLMATRO" (the Netherlands), pneumatic rescue equipment "SAVA" (Slovenia), telescopic lighting mast "FIRECO" (Italy). We also have experience in producing of custom-built vehicles using “PLASTISOL” superstructures (the Netherlands). Since 2007 POZHSNAB has been providing full-service for our own make fire trucks and their individual components and assemblies, as well as other leading car manufacturers. This helps to ensure the good support of fire fighting equipment throughout its entire life. In 2007 our company took part in the state science and technology program to create fire and rescue vehicles and completed this task successfully.
